LIVE: Coroner responds to report of person trapped in machinery at BMW plant, officials say

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. —

The coroner responded Wednesday morning to the BMW plant in Spartanburg County for a report of a person stuck in a piece of machinery, according to authorities.

The call was reported just before 10:30 a.m., emergency dispatchers told WYFF News 4.

Officials with the Pelham Batesville Fire Department and the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office were also called to the plant, dispatchers said.
